To protect you in the event of theft, the SIM card is immediately locked if someone keys in three different incorrect PIN codes in succession. This also applies if you absent-mindedly enter an incorrect PIN code three times in a row. The message "PIN locked" will appear on the screen. In this event, you can fall back on the PUK code, which comprises eight digits. Enter this code in order to unlock your mobile phone, and then follow the instructions on the screen. Should a person give an incorrect PUK code ten times in a row, the card will be irrevocably cancelled.
To get your PUK code*, please click "Buy Now". We now have to charge a £1 administration charge, however, this is still cheaper than ringing up your service provider**.
